James has been drawing since his early childhood days for his own personal enjoyment and has used art as a means of relaxation and self-exploration.  His mediums include colored and graphite pencil art and occasional acrylic art. James’ passion for the community and spiritual awareness is depicted in both his interpretations of urban life and biblical scriptures.  Along with his freestyle approach, this allows him to create and explore new ideas with each drawing.

His influences include artist such as Justin Bua, and Frank Morrison as they truly capture the essence of urban subcultures and there influence on each other.  Likewise, James recognizes the beauty of the multicultural experience and infuses his style to portray the everyday experience in a simplistic yet powerful way
